Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
Training and Coaching
____________
DTI has done extensive work with nursing homes on the implementation of electronic medical record (EMR) systems, including training curriculum development, training delivery and go-live support. Sessions have been developed and delivered for physicians, nurses, CNAs, social workers, administrators and others responsible for utilizing the EMR system.
DTI possesses an in-depth understanding of the techniques needed to be effective during EMR training, the elements of an EMR that need extra emphasis to ensure understanding, and the skills required to effectively coach and troubleshoot during go-live support. DTI also has a firm grasp on how to modify educational approaches in order to meet the needs of participants with minimal computer skills, limited English proficiency and other learning challenges.
DTI has extensive experience with two long term care EMR systems: SigmaCare and PointClickCare. Additional systems with which DTI has worked include Optimus and ADL.
